April Farm to School Lesson

Today we had our April Farm to School lesson. We made black bean salsa with Miss Meg. We were all brave and gave it a try! The majority of our class loved it! We also planted tomato seeds. We can't wait to see them sprout and grow!

Albany College of Pharmacy Students

Alex, Brittany and Christian are students at the Albany College of Pharmacy. They came to kindergarten this afternoon to teach us about poisons. We learned that some plants and some animals can be poisonous. We also learned that we should NEVER drink cleaning liquids like laundry detergent or soap...even if they smell good! If we don't know what something is, we should always ask a trusted adult!
